Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to oversee Rehabilitation Services across the region, providing administrative and clinical leadership for physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs.

You will mentor DORs, ensure coverage and quality, develop budgets and strategic plans, collaborate with facilities, and guide compliance and licensure readiness to deliver patient-centered, cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy with a Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree.
• Currently licensed in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy.
• At least five (5) years of clinical experience.
• At least two (2) to three (3) years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rehabilitation service operations within assigned region.
• Ensure service and operational excellence to meet quality outcomes for patients and staff.
• Mentor and train new Directors of Rehab to ensure consistency of quality rehab services.
• Provide adequate coverage of therapy services across facilities in the region.
• Plan, organize and direct operational activities and implement system-wide initiatives.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecast revenues and expenses, and analyze productivity.
• Develop new business strategies to enhance market share and improve performance.
• Collaborate with facility departments and staff to achieve goals and integrate strategic plans.
• Prepare for licensure surveys and ensure compliance.
