Job summary

Sweetwater Care seeks an experienced Director of Rehabilitation to oversee operations for rehabilitation services across the region. The role requires leadership of physical, occupational, and speech therapy and alignment with the VP of Rehabilitation Services to deliver cost-effective, high-quality care.

You will mentor Directors of Rehab, ensure coverage across facilities, and integrate the strategic plan with daily operations while driving patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy with a Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree.
• Currently licensed in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience.
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rehabilitation service operations within the assigned region.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective rehab services meeting stakeholder expectations.
• Mentor and train Directors of Rehab to ensure consistency across the region.
• Ensure adequate coverage of therapy services in all facilities in the region.
• Plan, organize and direct operational activities and implement strategic initiatives.
• Integrate the organization’s strategic plan with rehab operations.
• Review quality and effectiveness of all therapy programs and services.
• Provide leadership in developing high-quality, cost-effective clinical programs.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for forecasting revenues, expenses and capital needs.
• Develop budgets and perform cost/productivity analyses.
• Market service lines to physicians and community to support growth.
• Establish compliance policies and monitor adherence across rehab services.
• Develop staffing plans based on volumes, acuity, and workforce needs.
