Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to oversee day-to-day operations across rehabilitation services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy in the region. You will coordinate clinical programs with safety, quality, and budget goals while reporting to the VP of Rehabilitation Services.

This leadership role requires a Bachelor’s degree in OT/PT/SLP, active licenses, at least five years of clinical experience, and two to three years of leadership

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy.
• Current license in OT, PT, or SLP.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience.
• Minimum two to three years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assumes ultimate responsibility for rehabilitation service operations within assigned region.
• Responsible for service and operational excellence of all assigned activities to meet expectations of patients and staff.
• Mentors and trains new Directors of Rehab to ensure consistent quality rehab services across the region.
• Ensures adequate coverage of therapy services in all facilities in the region.
• Plans, organizes and directs operational activities of Rehabilitation Services and implements strategic initiatives.
• Develops and manages annual budgets and forecasts revenues and expenses.
• Markets service lines to physicians and community to drive volumes and growth.
• Oversees licensure preparation and regulatory compliance for rehabilitation services.
