Job summary

Sweetwater Care seeks an experienced leader to oversee Rehabilitation Services across a regional footprint. The role drives day-to-day operations, quality outcomes, and alignment with the organization’s strategic plan.

The Director will mentor Rehab Directors, ensure therapists are adequately staffed across facilities, and collaborate with clinical leaders to deliver cost-effective, high-quality rehab programs that meet patient and physician expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Arts degree from an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy.
• Must be currently licensed in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy.
• At least five (5) years of clinical experience.
• At least two (2)–three (3) years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees rehabilitation service operations within the assigned region.
• Ensures delivery of quality services and outcomes for patients and staff.
• Mentors and trains new Directors of Rehab to ensure consistent quality Rehab services.
• Provides adequate coverage of therapy services across all facilities in the region.
• Plans, organizes, and directs operational activities and implements strategic initiatives.
• Develops budgets and forecasts revenues, expenses, and capital needs.
• Markets rehab service lines to physicians and the community to grow volumes.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and participates in licensure surveys.
