Job summary

Bethesda Health in Clayton, MO is seeking a registered nurse to accurately assess residents' health status on admission and throughout care, and to document and implement dynamic care plans with the interdisciplinary team.

The RN will perform nursing interventions such as medication administration, treatments, and IV fluids, while ensuring timely physician communication and adherence to quality/care standards.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing that results in becoming a registered nurse.
• Current RN license in the state you will be working.
• CPR/AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Must possess critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses residents' health status on admission and on an ongoing basis.
• Documents the care plan on admission, cognition change, or regulatory requirements.
• Develops dynamic care plans through an interdisciplinary approach.
• Notifies physicians timely using SBARR communication tool.
• Performs nursing interventions including medication administration, treatments, and IV fluids.
