Bethesda Health in Clayton, MO is seeking a registered nurse to accurately assess residents, develop care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires strong critical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to document care plans and interventions electronically.

Competitive pay between $29.39 and $48.20 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in RN licensure.
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR/AED certification required or obtainable within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Must possess critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift heavy objects using proper lifting techniques and with assistance as necessary.
• Ability to transfer and move patients weighing 200+ lbs with assistance.
• Ability to push and pull equipment weighing over 40 lbs with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and coordination for patient care.
• Visual acuity with color discernment.
• Ability to document electronically and in writing.

Mansioni

• Assess residents' health status on admission and on an ongoing basis.
• Develop dynamic care plans with the IDT based on identified needs.
• Communicate the plan to residents, families, and IDT members.
• Document the care plan on admission, cognition changes, or regulatory requirements.
• Identify nursing interventions including orders and education needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV fluids safely and timely.
• Use SBARR to notify physicians when changes occur.
• Monitor residents and address issues promptly and calmly.
• Complete ongoing nursing education and stay current with Bethesda policies.
• May perform other duties as appropriate.
