Bethesda Health Group is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant to join our long-term care team in Clayton, MO. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, nutrition, vital signs, and daily resident care under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, documenting accurately in charts and following unit guidelines.

You will help with rounds, repositioning every 2 hours, monitor intake and output, and support special care items per physician orders.

Formación

• High school diploma preferred.
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state you will be working.
• CPR certification, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift heavy object using proper lifting techniques and with assistance when necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient care related support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed by Charge Nurse.
• Documents appropriately into patient records per established guidelines.
• Complete admission tasks and orient new residents to the facility.
• Take vital signs and monitor resident status and report to Charge Nurse.
• Turn and reposition residents every 2 hours and assist with transfers.
• Use proper lifting techniques for patient handling and operate equipment safely.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and document usage as required.
