Southcoast Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative for the Rehabilitation department at the Brain and Spine Center in Dartmouth, MA. This per diem, day-shift role involves coordinating patient care processes under the Rehab Operations Team Leader and providing essential front-line support in a busy outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of medical office experience, strong customer service, and solid computer/keyboarding skills.

Competenze

• High school graduate or GED is required.
• Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
• Duties require knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient keyboarding skills are essential.
• Computer experience a must.
• Must possess strong reasoning and critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask throughout the business day.
• Exceptional customer service skills are required.
• Over three years of related medical office work experience is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

• Under general supervision of the Team Leader, Rehab Operations, perform a variety of office support, coordination of various patient care processes and other related duties in accordance with established Rehabilitation Services department policies and procedures.
