Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED; computer literacy.
• Prefer CNA training or current enrollment in a licensed nurse program or completed fundamentals of nursing; therapy experience also considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist mobility of patients based on AM-PAC Mobility Score and JH-HLM goals.
• Communicate patient progress to the healthcare team.
• Coordinate with RN staff to ensure medical stability before mobilizing patients.
• Apply safe patient handling techniques during lifting, turning and positioning.
• Ensure patients are out of bed daily using appropriate equipment.
• Support therapy sessions as a secondary assistant when needed.
