Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• Basic math, medical terminology, and literacy skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and EPIC

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physical therapy and nursing to meet patient needs
• Provide patient care based on age, safety, and education criteria
• Ensure safe outcomes through judgment and action
• Build rapport with patients and promote mobility goals
• Promote a culture of mobility with the care team
• Independently provide direct mobility care and educate families
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and exercise groups
• Maintain safe environment and proper body mechanics
• Monitor vital signs and document findings; notify RN for abnormalities
• Utilize BLS when required
• Communicate mobility status and outcomes; track progress
• Complete documentation and report unsafe conditions
• Follow OSHA safety standards and participate in assigned duties
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards
