Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe patient handling and equipment use.
• Safely mobilize patient in bed and to chair.
• Set up mobility equipment (lifts, walkers, canes).
• Assist with turning, ROM, meals, and monitoring lines/tubes.
• Assist on-unit duties (wheelchair transport, answering call bells).
• Provide customer service, time management, and communication.
• Document inpatient interventions in the EMR and coordinate with nurse/therapist.
