Job summary

Goodwill NYNJ is seeking a Job Developer to create community-based job opportunities for Rehab consumers. You will schedule interviews, place clients, and build strong employer relationships across Northern New Jersey.

You will document services, support reporting for funders, and ensure CARF compliance, while planning job fairs and engaging with local employers. In this role you will travel to employer sites, educate employers about ADA considerations and funding incentives, and help clients

Qualifications

• BA preferred but will accept relevant work experience.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and ongoing access to transportation to travel to employers in counties throughout Northern New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Develop jobs, schedule interviews, place consumers with employers.
• Maintain employer relationships and visit employers in the community.
• Document placement services and employment verifications.
• Complete internal reports for funding sources and ensure CARF compliance.
• Plan job fairs and liaise with the local business community.
• Meet revenue goals and track service hours and weekly logs.
