Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater New York & Northern New Jersey Inc. seeks a Job Developer in Queens to build employer relationships, create job opportunities for Rehabilitation consumers, and manage placements with DVR/CBVI funding sources.

The role includes scheduling interviews, maintaining documentation, and delivering timely progress reports. The position emphasizes visiting employers, educating on ADA and tax credits, and meeting revenue goals while ensuring CARF-compliant services and

Qualifications

• BA preferred but will accept relevant work experience.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and access to transportation to travel to employers in multiple counties.
• Intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.
• Navigate and negotiate through difficult situations.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop job opportunities for Rehab consumers and schedule interviews.
• Build and maintain employer relationships by visiting employers in the community.
• Complete internal statistical and progress reports for funding sources.
• Plan and implement job fairs; liaise with the local business community.
• Ensure employer satisfaction with services and candidates; meet revenue goals.
