Job summary

Goodwill Greater New York and Northern New Jersey is seeking a Job Developer to create community-based job opportunities for Rehab consumers, with a focus on DVR & CBVI funding sources. You will schedule interviews, place consumers, and maintain thorough documentation and progress reports.

The role requires building employer relationships, educating on ADA and tax credits, and ensuring alignment with funding requirements. Travel across Northern New Jersey is expected.

Qualifications

• BA preferred but will accept relevant work experience.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and ongoing access to transportation to travel to employers in counties throughout Northern New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Develop 15–25 jobs within 90 days, including interviews and placements.
• Maintain documentation and progress reports for funding sources.
• Educate employers about disability issues, ADA, tax credits, and job modifications.
• Coordinate with DVR, CBVI and funders on employment goals.
• Attend rehab and staff meetings as required. Other duties may be assigned.
