TMC: Therapy Management Corporation in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Rehab Coordinator to oversee administrative tasks and coordinate patient care under the supervision of the Therapy Care Navigator. You will be a professional representative of TMC throughout the facility and help promote healthy relationships with staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, computer proficiency, and nurses’ aide certification or equivalent health paraprofessional training preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; nursing aide certification preferred.
• Computer proficiency and basic health paraprofessional training.
• Nurses’ Aide Certification or equivalent health paraprofessional training preferred.
• Ability to follow TMC Values and Mission Statement.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines within a team.
• Maintain confidentiality; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Transports and assists with patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Order and maintain office supplies per policy.
• Maintain department filing and charts; manage documentation flow.
• Prepare forms for physician signatures and track timely receipt.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy; notify TCN as needed.
• Scan, file, and distribute records in charts and JBS per schedule.
• Review DARs, treatment grids, and reports; ensure accuracy under TCN.
• Attend meetings; take notes and relay information to TCN/staff.
• Complete Tech Check Lists and weekly sanitation of equipment.
• Represent TMC professionally and promote a positive work environment.
• Manage and monitor treatment and staff schedulers; arrange PRN coverage.
• Review/approve time sheets daily; answer phones and read emails for staff.
• Distribute all user and company communications to staff.
