Job summary

TMC: Therapy Management Corporation is looking for a Rehab Coordinator to oversee administrative tasks and coordinate patient care within the therapy department. You will operate under the supervision of the Therapy Care Navigator and represent the company professionally in the facility.

The role emphasizes maintaining records, coordinating schedules, reviewing documentation for accuracy, and supporting daily operations while upholding state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Nurses’ Aide Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation field beneficial.
• Willingness to complete Tech Coordinator training.

Responsibilities

• Transports and assists with patient care under licensed therapists, per laws.
• Orders and maintains office supplies per company policy.
• Responsible for department filing and organizing charts and binders.
• Prepares forms for physician signature and tracks timely receipt.
• Reviews documentation for completeness and compliance; alert TCN as required.
• Copies, scans, distributes, and files records in charts and JBS timely.
• Reviews DARs, treatment grids, and other reports under supervision.
• Attends meetings; takes notes and communicates therapy information clearly.
• Completes Tech Check List daily, weekly, monthly; notes deficiencies.
• Maintains cleanliness of treatment and office areas.
• Performs weekly sanitation of equipment as directed by TCN.
• Represents TMC professionally; promotes positive work environment.
• Develops relationships with staff; supports scheduler operations.
• Monitors treatment and staff schedulers; coordinates PRN coverage.
• Reviews and approves time sheets daily per policy.
• Assists with answering phones and taking messages as needed.
• Checks emails and distributes communications to staff.
• Completes DAR and timesheet daily.
• Executes assigned tasks by TCN, Area Manager, or Regional Director.
• Other duties as assigned.
