Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Rehabilitation Aide at Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation in Greenfield, WI. This 36-hour weekly role supports therapists and patients with mobility and therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities include patient transport, basic modalities (hydrocollator, ultrasound, paraffin), linen and supply management, and light clerical duties. BLS certification required within 6 months; HS diploma needed; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• No experience required.
• BLS certification within 6 months required unless exempt.
• Good communication skills; able to relate to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from rehab areas per standard precautions.
• Perform therapies such as hydrocollator, ultrasound, and paraffin.
• Assist with toileting, ambulation, or unskilled exercises.
• Prepare hydrotherapy area and clean equipment.
• Order and stock linens and supplies; maintain clean work areas.
• Handle clerical tasks like charges, phones, forms, and charting.
• Assist with patient positioning and transfers; follow age-appropriate care.
