Job summary

Select Medical in Moon Township, PA, seeks a Rehab Aide to support therapists in outpatient rehabilitation. This on-site role involves assisting with treatment procedures, organizing ancillary services, and helping with center operations in a per diem capacity.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid certifications, and prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center. Evening hours are possible, and compensation is $12/hr.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures and help organize/schedule ancillary services and support center operations.
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions or responses to treatment.
• Assist with scheduling ancillary services, following up, and overseeing a specific program or OSHA coordination as assigned.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment and maintain clean treatment areas.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
