Job summary

Select Medical in Allison Park, PA is seeking a Rehab Aide to assist therapists in rehabilitation procedures and support center operations in an outpatient physical therapy setting.

Duties include organizing and scheduling ancillary services, observing patient responses, ensuring equipment readiness, and maintaining records. Per Diem schedule may include evenings; CPR/First Aid certifications are desired and prior outpatient PT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• CPR certification and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy center is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures.
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions or responses to treatment.
• Play a role in center operations such as scheduling ancillary services and following up, or supervising a specific program.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.

Type of Employment: Per Diem

Schedule: (hours vary / evenings)

Compensation: $10.00 - 12.00/hour (pending experience)

In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
