Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Rehab Aide to join our outpatient physical therapy team in Homestead, PA. This per diem role supports therapists, helps coordinate care, and contributes to efficient center operations.

You will assist with rehabilitation procedures, maintain records, and help ensure equipment is clean and ready. CPR/First aid certifications are preferred, and prior outpatient PT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and first aid certifications preferred.
• Previous outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in rehabilitation procedures and support center operations.
• Observe and report abnormal patient conditions or responses to treatment.
• Schedule ancillary services, follow up, and oversee a specific program as assigned.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment.

Position: Rehab Aide

Location: 495 E Waterfront Dr Suite 240 Homestead, PA 15120

Type of Employment: Per Diem

Schedule: Wednesday 8AM-1PM, Friday 8AM-12PM (some evenings until 7pm)

Compensation: $12/hour

In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
• Health Care Experience
