Job summary

Select Medical in Moon Township, PA is seeking a Rehab Aide to assist our outpatient physical therapy team and support therapists with rehabilitation procedures and center operations.

You will help with scheduling, record-keeping, equipment preparation, and ensuring patient safety and cleanliness in the therapy space. This role offers per diem scheduling with evenings available and requires a high school diploma or GED; CPR and first aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification.
• First aid certification.
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
