Job summary

Select Medical in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Rehab Aide to support therapists in outpatient physical therapy sessions. The role is PRN, as needed, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and compensation of $15.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

You will assist therapists, help organize and record ancillary services, and contribute to center operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; CPR and first aid certifications are preferred, and prior outpatient PT or healthcare

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures and support center operations.
• Observe and report abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment.
• Play a role in center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a program, OSHA coordination, etc.).
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a Health Profession
• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
• Health care experience
