The candidate will draft testimony, monitor regulatory hearings, and communicate findings to management and regulatory bodies. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, accounting or engineering is required or 9–12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for regulatory filings and interactions with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver timely regulatory responses.
• Strong analytical, financial and problem-solving capabilities with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager for regulatory filings, audits and special projects; plan, coordinate and manage filings and responses.
• Perform analyses of accounting, tax and financial issues related to regulatory matters and prepare executive materials.
• Draft testimony, schedules, and responses to discovery requests; develop filings and briefs.
• Monitor hearings and communicate findings to internal departments; work extended hours during storms or emergencies.
• Maintain relationships with state regulatory staff and external parties to support ratemaking and audit objectives.
