Xcel Energy is seeking an experienced regulatory professional to work with senior management on filings and strategies that support the company’s goals. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure filings reflect our strategic direction and are effectively communicated to regulators and stakeholders.

The role involves drafting filings, coordinating across teams, and developing testimony for regulatory hearings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5–7 years or equivalent experience in regulatory field.
• Experience dealing with regulatory filings required.
• Occasional overnight travel and extensive overtime.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Develop, compile and edit regulatory filings with clear explanations.
• Coordinate with senior management to align filings with company strategy.
• Draft discovery responses and assess their effectiveness.
• Develop key messages for presentations to regulators and legislators.
• Assist witnesses in developing pre-filed testimony.
