You will manage projects, prepare regulatory documents, and contribute to product stewardship efforts while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of science and engineering professionals.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree is required. M.S. or Ph.D. in a Science related field is preferred.
  • Experience with TSCA and other environmental regulations.
  • Experience in a scientific, research, or consulting environment is a plus.
  • Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication, writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, with an understanding of their capabilities, limitations, and appropriate applications.
  • Exposure to sensitive information will necessitate considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.
  • Experience with project management, budget tracking, and invoicing a plus.
  • Strong commitment to professional development.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and tracking client projects, project deliverables and budgets
  • Collaborating with internal project teams to discuss client projects, tasks, deliverables and budgets
  • Interacting with clients as well as EPA and State regulators
  • Gaining a strong understanding of chemical regulatory policy including TSCA
  • Knowledge of product stewardship principles and the ability to apply that knowledge across a range of industries and product types.
  • Preparing and submitting regulatory approval documents
  • Providing regulatory and technical review and quality control support for TSCA and product stewardship projects
