Job summary

Exponent is seeking a Senior Scientist for Regulatory work in the Washington, DC area. You will lead project management, provide FIFRA regulatory and technical support, and coordinate with consultants in our Center for Chemical Regulation and Food Safety.

You will engage with EPA and state regulators, build on TSCA knowledge, and contribute to product stewardship initiatives while ensuring rigorous regulatory submissions and reviews.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree is required; MS/PhD preferred for enhanced regulatory depth.
• Experience with TSCA and other environmental regulations.
• Three years of consulting or government regulatory experience.
• Detail oriented, independent, and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track client projects, deliverables, and budgets.
• Collaborate with internal teams on client projects and tasks.
• Interact with clients as well as EPA and State regulators.
• Apply TSCA and regulatory insights to client challenges.
• Prepare and submit regulatory approval documents.
• Provide regulatory and technical review for TSCA projects.
