Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Property Management Specialist to coordinate classifications and approvals for off-site shipments of radioactive and hazardous materials. You will review contracts, manage property records, and ensure audit trails while interfacing with federal agencies and external customers.

The role involves applying export regulations, identifying proliferation-sensitive items, and maintaining DOE-ID aligned property records and processes in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4–6 years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license and experience with enterprise software systems.
• Familiarity with inventories, government property management, procurement and subcontracts.
• Experience with Excel data sorting, manipulation and conditional formatting.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, export controls and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform property management functions and off-site shipping approvals.
• Review contracts for high-risk property and categorize materials accordingly.
• Interface with federal agencies and external customers; provide property services support.
• Pull reports from property systems and ensure audit trails for all transactions.
• Maintain property records and update databases to ensure compliance.
