Xcel Energy, a Fortune 500 energy utility, seeks a strategic leader for Integrated System Planning to align policy, regulatory strategy, and long‑term investments with company objectives. You will influence planning frameworks, work with regulators and stakeholders, and guide cost recovery strategies for major infrastructure.

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and 12+ years of utility experience are required; experience in regulatory affairs or public policy is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of utility experience.

Responsibilities

• Own identification and strategic response to policy, market, regulatory, and system-planning issues.
• Serve as representative with regulators, agencies, and stakeholders; cultivate relationships.
• Influence external policy and planning frameworks to advance company priorities.
• Establish and govern integrated planning strategies across generation, transmission, distribution, and growth.
• Translate complex planning insights into recommendations for executive leadership.
• Develop strategies for policy, cost allocation, and cost recovery in regulatory frameworks.
• Oversee responses to regulatory proceedings and stakeholder initiatives.
