Job summary

Xcel Energy, Denver, CO, is seeking a regulatory professional to join the generation and transmission team. You will develop, compile and edit large, complex filings and support multiple projects while delivering high-quality work product.

You will advocate the company’s positions, interact with regulators and stakeholders, and help draft testimony and presentations for regulatory and legislative forums. The role requires strong MS Office skills and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 5–7 years or equivalent experience in regulatory field.
• Experience dealing with regulatory filings required.
• Occasional overnight travel and extensive overtime required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, compile and edit regulatory case filings.
• Provide clear written explanations of complex issues.
• Advocate the company's positions with regulators and stakeholders.
• Develop presentations for external regulatory agencies and internal audiences.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance activities in assigned jurisdictions.
