Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking a qualified Documentation/Records Specialist to maintain controlled documentation systems and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves retention processes, classification of records, and enforcing formatting standards across procedures.

Responsibilities include coordinating regulatory submissions, communicating standards, and supporting the assembly of regulatory dossiers.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of relevant exempt experience or
• Master’s Degree + 4 years of relevant professional experience
• Associate's Degree or 2-year program with 2 years exempt experience or 4 years non-exempt experience
• Military Paygrade E-5 or above or equivalent military experience
• High School/GED with 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
• High School/GED with 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience

Responsabilidades

• Maintains a controlled documentation system, record retention, and information services functions including electronic records retention processes.
• Ensures compliance to the requirements from regulatory agencies and maintains the documentation change system.
• Interprets and enforces all documentation formatting, standards, policies, and operating procedure requirements.
• Identifies submission components, communicates documentation standards and coordinates assembly of regulatory dossiers.

Educación

Bachelor's Degree + 6 years' exempt experience
