Job summary

State of Michigan in Lansing seeks a Departmental Analyst 9-P11 to provide regulatory, analytical, and program support for the MI Rider Education Program and the Driver Education Unit, including the BDIC program. The role conducts compliance monitoring, complaint review, inspections, data analysis, and grant administration to safeguard program integrity.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory, analytical, compliance and program support for MI-REP and DEU, including the BDIC program.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, complaint review and investigation, inspections, data analysis, and grant administration.
• Review BDIC sponsor applications and monitor sponsors for continued compliance with statutory/department requirements; assist with DEU reviews as needed.
• Prepare reports and recommendations; provide technical assistance to regulated entities and stakeholders; perform related duties.
