Job summary

American Credit Acceptance, LLC is seeking a Regulatory Change Analyst to join our Compliance team. In this role you will monitor regulatory developments, assess their impact on Auto Finance, Privacy, and other areas, and translate requirements into actionable processes.

You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to implement changes, maintain inventories, and support examinations. This position is full-time in our Spartanburg, SC office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Risk Management, Financial Services, or related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to independently research and interpret complex regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Research and monitor state and federal regulatory developments impacting ACA's business operations.
• Assess applicability and business impact of new laws and regulations in partnership with Legal and Compliance.
• Coordinate implementation activities to ensure regulatory requirements are effectively integrated into business processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify operational impacts and develop practical compliance solutions.
• Communicate complex regulatory changes in a clear, concise, and business-friendly manner.
• Maintain regulatory inventories, impact assessments, implementation plans, and supporting documentation.
