The Regulation Coach plays a vital role in helping children and teens develop healthy self-regulation skills. The coach is responsible for the Regulation Room, a dedicated space designed to help the brain and body achieve calm and focus. By implementing individualized regulation plans, the Regulation Coach provides clients with opportunities to manage stress, regulate emotions, and develop coping strategies in a safe and supportive environment.
This role is primarily education-focused, working directly with students in the classroom to support learning and emotional growth. The Regulation Coach also assists in the residential milieu as needed, collaborating with staff to de-escalate challenging behaviors and reinforce regulation strategies across all settings.
