Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Risk Specialist I to drive regulated waste compliance across multiple California sites. You will implement compliance plans, perform site inspections, and surface gaps using data-driven methods.

The role requires clear communication with site leaders and legal stakeholders, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in environmental compliance, knowledge of RCRA/DOT rules, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field.
• 2+ years of environmental compliance or waste management experience.
• Experience interpreting environmental regulations (RCRA, DOT, state rules).
• Data analysis to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.

Responsabilités

• Own execution of regulated waste compliance projects across sites.
• Develop SOPs, workflows, and inspection routines to mitigate risks.
• Conduct audits, site inspections, and track findings to closure.
• Collaborate with site teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Prepare clear status reports and documentation for audiences.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
