Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Risk Specialist I to drive regulated waste compliance across multiple sites in California. You will execute environmental compliance plans, maintain hazardous waste records, and partner with site and operations teams to meet milestones.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in environmental compliance, knowledge of RCRA/DOT, and strong data-driven problem solving. Travel up to 50% is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in environmental compliance or regulated waste management.
• Experience interpreting environmental regulations (RCRA, DOT, state rules).
• Experience collecting and analyzing data to identify compliance gaps.
• Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Own execution and delivery of regulated waste compliance projects across sites.
• Conduct site inspections and manage waste records and inspections.
• Collaborate with site teams to clarify requirements and drive action.
• Identify process improvements to reduce risk and improve conformance.
• Prepare clear documentation and metrics for stakeholders.
• Travel up to 50%.
