Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Risk Specialist I to drive regulated waste compliance across multiple California sites. You will execute environmental compliance plans, maintain records, and partner with site and operations teams to meet milestones.

The role requires knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and state rules, plus strong data analysis and communication skills to surface gaps and drive improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of regulated waste requirements (RCRA, DOT, state hazardous waste rules).
• Experience interpreting and applying environmental regulations to drive compliance.
• Ability to collect and analyze data to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.

Responsabilités

• Own the execution and delivery of regulated waste compliance projects across sites.
• Apply risk management methods, including audits and inspections, to monitor thresholds and take corrective action.
• Collaborate with site teams to understand needs and drive productive discussions.
• Identify process improvements to reduce risk and increase efficiency.
• Prepare clear documentation and metrics for stakeholders.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
