Job summary

The City of St. Peters is seeking a Registration Specialist to support the Rec-Plex front desk, registrations, reservations, and payments. You will be the primary contact for guests, provide program information, and assist with new procedures and training.

The role may involve scheduling, inventory, and events support. Expected hours are evenings and Sunday, with a focus on friendly service, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized to work.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Typing proficiency of 30 correct words per minute.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming and exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and assisting guests with their needs.
• Process program, membership, and facility registrations and reservations.
• Operate point-of-sale cash registers, process transactions, and assist with balancing cash drawers.
• Provide guests with information regarding Rec-Plex programs, policies, procedures, facilities, and park rules.
• Assist with developing and implementing new procedures.
• Prepare routine correspondence and maintain accurate records, reports, and files.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary facility and guest environment.
• Recognize operational or customer service concerns and assist with developing and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Follow established City safety standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The City of St. Peters is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused professional to support registration and front desk operations at the Rec-Plex. This position serves as an important point of contact for guests by processing program and membership registrations, facility reservations, and payments while providing information about Rec-Plex programs, policies, facilities, and events. The Registration Specialist may also assist with staff scheduling and training, inventory, special events, and the implementation of new procedures.

Normal Shift:

The ideal schedule for this position is 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Sunday.

Key Responsibilities
