Job summary

St. Peters Parks & Recreation seeks an individual to assist in the Recreation Operations Department, helping with special events, food service, marketing, sponsorship, and administrative duties at Rec-Plex and City facilities.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; strong organizational skills; and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy municipal setting.

Qualifications

• US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to participate physically in recreation programs and activities
• Current enrollment in or pursuing a degree in Recreation, Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, setup, execution, and evaluation of special events and programs.
• Gather photos, videos, and written content to support marketing and promotional efforts.
• Support food service operations through organization, preparation tasks, and errands.
• Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, inventory tracking, and document preparation.
• Respond to customer/resident inquiries, concerns and complaints while following safety standards.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
