Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a clinic receptionist to provide excellent customer service, collect and input data into the registration system, and obtain necessary signatures and notices for patients and families.

The role includes verifying insurance, identifying certification requirements, and notifying supervisors when authorizations are missing. You will calculate balances, document events, and schedule appointments while promoting patient safety and high-quality care.

• Computer experience required; typing 30 WPM.

Notify appropriate supervisory personnel if patient present for services and authorization is required but not on file.Calculate estimated amount due and request payment using the hospital approved scripts.Accurately and thoroughly document pertinent events regarding the handling of the account, including researching prior accounts.Schedule patient appointments for multiple providers within the set guidelines.Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.Education:High school diploma or equivalent required. The ability to interpret medical terminology required.Experience:One to two years of clerical skills required.
