Job summary

Covista is seeking a Registrar Functional Tech in Lisle, IL to manage Registrar and Degree Audit configuration in Banner and DegreeWorks. You will coordinate with Business Operations and technical teams to define requirements, build configurations, and perform testing.

Responsibilities include building program and course configurations, correcting degree audits, and performing routine maintenance. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this higher education role.

Qualifications

• Must have Banner or DegreeWorks SIS experience.
• Experience in registrar functions.
• Experience in higher education.
• Experience in configuration and scribing in DegreeWorks or a similar application.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform duties on time with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle program and course build and configuration in the Banner student information system.
• Update and correct student degree audits in Banner and DegreeWorks.
• Perform daily and scheduled production maintenance tasks and fulfill customer requests.
• Troubleshoot production issues and analyze root causes.
• Maintain DegreeWorks Scribe program progress guides.
• Maintain degree audit setup in Banner.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to translate business needs into deliverables.
• Test system updates and validate data in Banner and DegreeWorks.
• Document business requirements and collaborate with partners on solutions.
• Interact effectively with remote team members and other teams.
