Destination Pet LLC is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician at Purple Paws Pet Clinic in Coronado, CA. You will work at the top of your license, ensuring medical excellence, and serve as a clinical leader in a full‑service general practice.

You will perform anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and nursing tasks, while guiding technicians and externs. A structured career ladder and mentor support back your growth, with competitive pay and benefits.

We provide top-of-the-line medical, surgical, and dental equipment, as well as an in-house laboratory and ultrasonography.Your Role – Clinical Driver & LeaderAs a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), you will be encouraged to work at the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.You will primarily utilize your skills in:Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.Growth & ScheduleGrowth Paths: Your career interests guide your path!
