Destination Pet LLC is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician at Eldorado Animal Clinic in Santa Fe, NM. You will work at the top of your license, leading clinical care with anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics and nursing support in a collaborative, community-focused practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia and analgesia with multimodal pain management.
• Perform dentistry including radiography and periodontal therapy.
• Conduct in-house diagnostics and lab analyses.
• Deliver nursing care, triage, and patient monitoring.
• Lead tech appointments, mentor assistants, and support staff.

We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.You will primarily utilize your skills in:Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.Growth & ScheduleGrowth Paths: Your career interests guide your path!
