Destination Pet LLC is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at Nebel Street Animal Hospital in Rockville, MD. The role emphasizes working to the top of your license with clinical leadership to maintain medical excellence and patient-first care.

Qualifications

• Experience with anesthesia, radiography, and lab analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia and analgesia with multimodal pain management.
• Perform dentistry tasks including full-mouth dental radiography and charting.
• Conduct diagnostics with in-house lab analysis and radiography.
• Nursing and triage: monitor patients and manage catheters/feeding tubes.
• Lead workflow: mentor assistants and coordinate tech appointments.

We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.You will primarily utilize your skills in:Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.Growth & ScheduleGrowth Paths: Your career interests guide your path!
