Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.
• Technician is expected to work at the top of license and lead clinical activities.
• Experience with small animal practice preferred but not required for entry in ladder.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia, monitor patient during procedures, and manage analgesia.
• Perform dentistry procedures including radiography and periodontal therapy.
• Conduct diagnostics with in-house labs and imaging; collect samples as needed.
• Provide nursing care, triage, catheter management and post-op monitoring.
• Lead tech appointments, mentor assistants and participate in team huddles.

We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.You will primarily utilize your skills in:* Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.* Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).* Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.* Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.* Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.Growth & Schedule* Growth Paths: Your career interests guide your path!
