Job summary

Saint Peter's Health Care System is seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist for a per diem position in the Vascular Lab. The successful candidate will schedule and prepare patients, take brief histories, and perform or assist with vascular diagnostic studies.

Qualifications include a one-year training program or equivalent, graduation from an approved ultrasound program, BLS certification, and RVT/RVS certification. Per diem status with competitive benefits is offered.

Registered Vascular Technologist Per Diem
Vascular Lab

The Registered Vascular Technologist Per Diem will:
Responsible for scheduling, preparing the patient, taking a brief history, and either performing or assisting with Vascular Diagnostic studies and other tests.

Requirements:

• Completion of a one (1) year training program or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Graduate from approved school of medical ultrasound technology or equivalent.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, and pertinent testing procedures required to perform clinical tests, maintain equipment, chart treatments and tests, etc.
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• RVS Certification or RVT certification required

Salary Range:43.00 - 43.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job‑related work experience, internal equity, and industry‑specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
