Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist Per Diem to join the Vascular Lab in New Jersey. You will schedule, prepare the patient, take a brief history, and perform or assist with vascular diagnostic studies.

Requirements include a one-year training program or equivalent, graduation from an approved ultrasound program, BLS, and RVT/RVS certification. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and tuition programs. Per diem roles prorate based on status.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one (1) year training program or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Graduate from approved school of medical ultrasound technology or equivalent.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, and pertinent testing procedures required to perform clinical tests, maintain equipment, chart treatments and tests.
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• RVS Certification or RVT certification required

• Maintain equipment and chart treatments and tests as part of clinical workflow.

Vascular Lab

The Registered Vascular Technologist Per Diem will: Responsible for scheduling, preparing the patient, taking a brief history, and either performing or assisting with Vascular Diagnostic studies and other tests.

Requirements:

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
