Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist Per Diem to join the Vascular Lab in New Jersey. You will schedule, prepare the patient, take a brief history, and perform or assist with vascular diagnostic studies.

Requirements include a one-year training program or equivalent, graduation from an approved ultrasound program, BLS, and RVT/RVS certification. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and tuition programs. Per diem roles prorate based on status.

Qualifications

Completion of a one (1) year training program or equivalent on-the-job training.
Graduate from approved school of medical ultrasound technology or equivalent.
Familiarity with medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, and pertinent testing procedures required to perform clinical tests, maintain equipment, chart treatments and tests.
BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
RVS Certification or RVT certification required

Responsibilities

Schedule, prepare the patient, take a brief history, and either performing or assisting with vascular diagnostic studies and other tests.
Maintain equipment and chart treatments and tests as part of clinical workflow.
