Job summary

Sanford Health in Eau Claire, WI seeks a sleep technologist to perform PSG, titration, MSLT, HST and MWT studies. You will record and relay data to physicians for diagnostic decisions, educate patients on prescribed therapies, and assist with follow-up testing as needed.

The role requires proficiency with sleep testing equipment, adherence to AASM standards, and ensuring accurate documentation in patient records. Mentorship of students may be involved.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or other medical specialty preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience in Sleep Disorders field preferred.
• RRT must obtain RPSGT or Sleep Disorder Specialty credential within 2 years of starting.
• BLS certification within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic (PSG) studies, titration, MSLT, HST and MWT procedures.
• Record and provide accurate data to physicians for diagnostic use.
• Educate patients on prescribed therapies and test procedures.
• Monitor and document in medical records per facility guidelines.
• Oversee students and staff as needed during patient care.
