Job summary

Boone Health in Missouri seeks a credentialed sleep technician for PRN night shifts to perform diagnostic sleep testing (PSG/HST). You will prepare patients, apply sensors, monitor data, and assist physicians with interpretation.

Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, scoring sleep data per AASM guidelines, managing EMR notes, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout overnight studies. BLS and sleep credentials required or in process.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or GED and enroll in an accredited neurodiagnostic or polysomnography program.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in a related health field.
• Current acceptable sleep tech credentials: RPSGT, R. EEG T, CRT or RRT.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for sleep studies, in-lab and home testing.
• Apply electrodes and sensors and monitor data per AASM guidelines.
• Review and score PSG/HST recordings to identify sleep events under supervision.
• Maintain EMR entries and patient safety during overnight monitoring.
