Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus six months of direct patient care experience or one year of postsecondary education.
• OR Current enrollment in an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic polysomnographic (PSG) studies and titration.
• Conduct MSLT and Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT) as indicated.
• Record and provide data to physicians for diagnosis and treatment of sleep/wake disorders.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment and understand its indications and physiological effects.
• Monitor and document data in medical records per guidelines.
• Work with diverse age groups and patient needs.
• Perform other department-specific duties as required.
